Nguyen and Ben are the dynamic duo behind the home of Lady Kombucha. For Nguyen, fermented food has always been a part of her life, with her family’s history of food production and fermentation. When she became pregnant, Nguyen dove deeper into the world of kombucha to find a natural way to take care of her growing family’s health. After extensive research and experimentation, she discovered the magic of brewing her own kombucha at home. As she began to share her homemade brew with friends and family, its popularity grew, and soon the local community was clamoring for her delicious and healthful elixir. That’s when Ben’s move to Danang came into the picture.
Fresh off the boat from Australia and suffering from a persistent stomach ailments, Ben was on the hunt for a natural remedy to heal his “Bali Belly.” When he tried Nguyen’s kombucha, he was blown away by how different it tasted from the commercial kombucha in Australia. He began drinking it every day, and soon enough, his stomach pains began to subside.
The two quickly became friends, bonding over their shared passion for health and also a distaste for products that are chemicals processed or unnatural. Together they decided to take Nguyen’s homemade brew to the next level. They wanted to spread the word about kombucha and its amazing health benefits, and make it accessible to more people in Vietnam and beyond. And so, Lady Kombucha was born.
Our mission is simple but powerful: to help people care more about their health and wellness by providing them with the highest quality, locally-sourced, and naturally brewed kombucha. Lady Kombucha is more than just a drink—it’s a movement. A movement that celebrates conscious eating, sustainability and community.
